My Prediction for the sunlight exp. is If the temperature of the inked water increases then the number of calories collected will increase. Is this the kind of prediction you looking for.

  2. perhaps ......If you increase the amount of ink in the water? or increase the area of illumination that is black, then the amount of total heat will.....................

  4. You know how the sign next Mr. V's door was recently changed to Magic class instead of science class? Well that got me thinking, since this is magic class now, shouldn't we call Mr.V something different? like maybe Mr.V Professor of Logic? I should make a sign, but my printer's bust and I have crappy handwriting.

  5. Mr. V Professor of Logic was right. The world is ending. I witnessed something I've never seen. Lightning right above my house. Sounds normal right, but absolutely no sound at all. Weirdest thing that happend this Thursday the 26 around 9:00 pm. Amazing but frightning.

  6. Paul, the world still has a bit less than 5 billion years .... it's the "people species" that can make the choices and decisions that determine how long they will be here.

This will help with your.. phenomena...

  7. Mr.V according to the website i saw a sheet lightning which refers to lightning embedded within a cloud that lights up as a sheet of luminosity during the flash. Ive looked on YouTube and other sources and I've never seen somebody have a video of it in Florida. Some parts of Northern Florida but that's it. Thanks for the explanation.

  8. Mr. V, I don't know when each marking period ended and started, and the dates do not show on portal. Do you know the dates for each of the marking periods?

    Thank you,

  12. Mr. Voskuil,
The book we are creating with the shoestrings and cereal box is hard for me because just the other day i threw out a bunch of previous 6 weeks work not even remembering that we create this book at the end. My book seems a lot thinner than everybody else's. It's organized but there is only 2 or 3 six weeks’ worth of work in there. I'm not sure of what to do?

  14. So to go along with Savanahh, a couple of my papers i forgot to put a proper heading and I dont have a clue where to put them. Should I just randomly find a spot for them, or should I find the spot (from other papers) that is relevant to the topic?

  15. HELLLLOOOOO !!!!! Everybody chill !!!! Its all good.

There are bonus points this term, there is not a separate category for each progress log because the progress logs are not aligned to the weeks this term. Bonus points are credited to you if they are on your Progress log that is turned in complete and on time.

  16. Erin,

I am sorry you threw out your work. We have kept the work in the room all year. I am sure you will do the best you can with what you have.

  17. If there are no other clues where it goes.. In guess you can just hide it somewhere... IT IS YOUR BOOK...you wrote it.

  24. Mr. V, I have the same question as Janki (which was already answered). For your class on Mon. Tues. and Wed. do we need to bring our (year of the year, the one we used for our test) field notebook?

  25. Mr.v i keep forgetting to ask you this, When you said you have solar panels on your house and you collect enough energy to power yours and three of your neighbors houses does the solar energy power your whole house, air conditioning and refrigerator also?

  26. Mr.v,
I would like to thank you for inspiring me to learn. That's right I said learn. I have never really felt such a strong connection with a teacher before. In my brain you were like god. It is sort of creepy. I just want to commend you on your amazing ability to come to school bright and early and teach us everything you know. Thank you for making my year an amazing one.

  27. Mr.V,
You should create an article on the blog for your past 8th graders to explain how it was to be in your class. Just a thought.
