  1. Mr. V that video is so cool I never knew that 91% of Quebecers cared about the environment. Thats so werid how only one person who care enough to pick up that bottle in an airport, while everyone else is walking around the plactic bottle.

  4. Mr. V these are my predictions for busch gardens:
    1) If the number of people on Gwazi decrease, then the speed will stay the same.
    2) If the number of people on Kumba increase, then the speed wil stay the same.
    3) If I increase the number of peoples hands' the in the air then the people that feel g-force will increase.

  10. And I thought all of those people were just minding themselves.......I guess if you throw a bottle in a recycling bin in the middle of a mall food court, you instantly become a celebrity for it! Would'nt it be great if they did that in this country? :)

    For one im always going to be picking up bottles now and two...Don’t you just love it how “oh no earthquake in Haiti, let’s all donate and help!” (1 month later) “Haiti what happened in Haiti?” (1 year later face book post) “OMG did you hear about Egypt? It’s crazy over there!” (2 months later Haiti suffering worse than ever) “ahhh Libya is in turmoil! Let’s all help out!” (1 month later Libyans still dyeing, Haitians have stopped receiving help from earthquake) “EARTHQUAKE IN JAPAN!! It was horrible now nuclear crisis! We have to help fast!” (Haitians dyeing STILL no one thinking of them. Egypt starting all over again no one thinking about them. Libya still uprising little on them. One month later) “Libya is going off the deep end! All eyes on what will happen next!”

  21. Amd thats where the 34,000 peopole come in, staying with the suffering. And you are right it is hard to keep up with what JUST happened because the new is showing something that is happening. It just seems hard to beleive Haiti was a big thing for a month than everyone forgot about them when they are going to be recovering for YEARS. But then again look at the evolution timeline that someone put up on the overpass not to long ago.

    Its me Alex again and i was searching around on youtube and would be very greatfull if you would 1. check these guys out and 2. share it with the class or i could or something but anyway they are 2 brothers on youtube and they have a page called Vlogbrothers and FUNNY. But not only are they funny but they compleatly explain sciency things in a good memorable way. For example after the Haiti earthquake one went to Haiti to help out and discovered some fasinating chain reactions that lead back to desease and world ballence.

  28. I ccan't believe all those people just walked by that bottle. Iknow this was a staged event, but the people walking by are real and that one lady who recycled that bottle deserved to be recognized like she did. They should do this in the u.s.a to see how long it would take for one person to pick the item up. Thanks mrv

    Energy and States of Matter Jake Sams yellow

    What is the relationship between energy and matter in a change of state? Energy affects all the states of matter liquid, gas, solid and plasma. All of these types of matter are made of molecules which have energy because each molecule moves around which gives it state of matter. The energy of molecule speed will increase or decrease if the heat in the molecules increases or decreases.
    Heat is the main thing that connects these two subjects. Because heat will speed up the molecules and will change the state of matter. If you put ice in your hand the heat from your hand will transfer to the molecules in the ice which is conduction the transfer of heat from one particle of matter to another. The molecules will then heat up and start moving around faster and will change into a liquid in this case water. Since the molecules are moving the molecules will try to spread apart from each other. The heat will cause the matter to change forms into another form of matter.
    If you slow down the energy by lowering the amount of heat the molecule has in water by freezing the water in an ice tray then the water will start to turn into a solid. The molecules are not moving around as much or as fast so the water will soon change into a solid known as ice. The relationship of energy of the water is showing that matter cannot change unless the energy increases or decreases. When you think of energy you just think of heat but there is also light and electrical energy. All of these can change the state of the matter.
    The two main types of energy are potential and kinetic. Potential energy is energy that is stored in the matter and while kinetic energy is energy in use. Matter and energy make up everything in the universe. A big topic is global warming in the polar ice caps. Since the Arctic regions are getting hotter there the temperature is rising so the energy in the ice is speeding up and the molecules are spreading apart which is making the matter (ice a solid) changing the state in to a liquid. The heat is making the land up there slowly melt away. By seeing how heat melts the ice proves that energy does have a big relationship with matter.
    To see how energy affects matter is a big topic to know about since matter and energy make up the whole universe it is good to know how these two subjects affect each other in such a big way. The main relationship between these two is adding energy may increase temperature of the substance or change its state (Solid to liquid or liquid to gas). Removing heat energy will either cool a substance or again, may change its state (Gas to liquid ... which proves that you can’t have matter without energy and you can have energy without having matter. Seeing if the energy in something increases or decreases will make the matter change into a different form proves that both affect each other in a big way.
